The St. Raphael Worksite Wellness Initiative was started in fall 2024 to encourage employees of the Diocese of Columbus - including those at parishes, schools and the Catholic Center - to take a proactive approach to their spiritual, emotional, social and intellectual/vocational health. Schools and parishes are encouraged to take ownership and implement their own wellness initiatives at their locations, in addition to the events and activities planned for the entire diocese.
One of the seven Archangels, St. Raphael was selected as the patron saint of this initiative because the name Raphael means "God has healed". It is the diocese's hope that St. Raphael's intercession will bring good health and increased overall wellness to all diocesan employees!
